Hi Dean, I agree with you that taking a position now is risky, hence what i said in my post. Your post and blog take the tone of being a calm and wise head shepherding the poor misguided retail lemmings, and although playing fast and loose with grammar and spelling isn't a big deal in social media, when you cite a misspelt quote for emphasis in the article and again on here it doesn't help your argument.
It's interesting that you focused on the most contentless part of my response (and markvl's for that matter), and then damn us further by faint praise of Twin, play the ball not the man.
You say you're long on ADO but seem to have no idea of their cost base or how to approach the value of deals that seem highly likely to eventuate. Geoff has repeatedly expressed that the increased cost to Mix&Go from closing deals with POC1 and BBI will be minimal. Looking at the size of Alere a 2% royalty to ADO could easily top $20 million within two years, are you seriously saying that meeting our side of that deal will cost $10 million or more per year? The very structure of ADO and how it attempts to do business are designed for scaleability and low cost basis. I'd be disappointed if deals cost us that much to push through, and trust that Geoff is experienced enough to drive a hard bargain.
This post has ended up far more confrontational than I intended, especially as I agree with the overall sentiment of what you're saying, just not the logic by which you arrive at it, and that I'm a bit more confident of where ADO is heading. Capital management is always a good idea for those who can't afford to lose what they have on the table, or even better if you're confidently able to trade (I belong to neither group).
I too am worried about the ramping that seems to be reaching a fever pitch, and although Martis' TA is also compelling I think he's deliberately overstated the previous measured move by a few cents (by my reading of the chart) and will doubtless have a sell planned well below his 36 cent 'target'.
