You have an interesting blog one which I have visited previously and enjoyed. Your current comments on probability and successful outcomes I find interesting although some points I disagree. In my opinion research DOES improve the probability of investments turning out favourably. For example pre flight inspection requires a checklist. As each item is ticked off the probability for a successful take off is improved. Extending this concept to investments brings us to future business events, catalysts which from what I see every day on the markets seem to assist in driving the share price higher. Superior research can help one identify these successful business events which can lead to the overall successful outcome. The crux of my thoughts also flows onto post investing research although it would be hard to improve on Twinvest’s research. Understanding binomial event trees does help with my thoughts.

On a side note could you please post the 32 companies with net margins higher than 50% as I am curious what they are.
