A hammer mil only smashes the ore into a fine grind. It does not seperate the gold from the other materials. If you have 20x400kg hammer mills running at the same time you will have 8tonnes of fine ore stockpiled after 1 hour which will then need to be processed to extract the gold. how do you think this gets processed? It is either panned and recovered on the gold table or it is put through the gravity circuit.
Blitzz,
If that's the case, then how did they run 9 tonnes through every 12 hrs & extract 16.79 g/t?
That's 0.72 tonnes p/hr. Has this been panned by hand or are they running through a sluce box or something of their own device?
They keep saying they are getting good recovery rates when the gekko gravity plant is avoided.
Taken from announcement
Trial run of high grade ores using our smaller Hammer Mills 1 & 2 over 8 days of 12 hoursper day yielded 1209.33 grams of production from 72 tonnes of ore at an average grade of16.79 g/t.
Question 27. How has the gold been separated & recovered from the find grind ore through the 400kg mills???
