You can't put in a price too high above the going price. What you do is put in a price that is accepted then you increase it. I had to do this once to buy some options that were 15c above the previous price. I couldn't buy them at the going rate.
I also am sorry to say I was that bugger that picked up your mates 2500 poso the other day.
