I think they'll need to be dragged, kicking and screaming, towards better disclosure practises!
In saying that, it is normal practise for the chairman to have a final vote on most matters at board. But, it is the duty of all other directors to point out the right way to go about things. Especially with the way the American Overlords (thanks Fact Finder) go about running the company.
Our highly paid Australian directors should be doing more to point out how to engage with the shareholder base. Clearly this is above their pay grade and expertise though...
