derpa derp - what else is more likely when the US president says he;s going to increase tariff rate from 10 to 25%.

he wants to increase pressure - so first part is always going to be to increase the levy on the things already under stress - as those will be products ranges chosen as maxmium pain points for china.

@retiredyoung - you may know - whats the book value of combined business? once EV is below book value, fundamental investors often get interested if they think there's profit in the business - though debt tends to scare them off. could be theyll just value the Lifx book if they think Ohm/Thor is too hard to value.

though you never know how low the discount might get before it bounces.

i remember BKN got down to about 30-40% book value before it reversed - and that was a 100 year old major engineering machinery firm with global sales and 3000+ employees
