The comparison, relates to warranty, quality, power consumption, intelligence,security and output. Cheap is not always good, these are devices accessing your wifi so they provide a weak point for access.
All of these lights are made in the same region in China, they all need to operate at a profit, the only way they can make a product and get to market cheaper than LifX, GE and Phillips is to cut corners or use cheaper components.
People that are buying a camry just want a car, people buying the merc want a better experience, they will sell to a certain section of the market. Mirabella have smart bulbs, Kmart sell wifi smart bulbs, there are a whole cheap bunch of them, yet Hue and LifX are 1 and 2
