Personally I think connected homes are very gimmicky, lights, assistants and all. I feel there will be a big swing away from these products in about 5 years or at least if they are being used it will be on closed loop wifi. I may be a little bit of a conspiracy theorist, but when people realise the amount of their privacy they are sacrificing with their phone, assistant and any other smart device there will be a swing away from these products.
