    not what ive read

    in IoT space no one was/is selling 'just product' - BUD, BID, BIQ etc was/is all product with software mgt service in some degree or other

    primary difference was in the level of 'control' functionality. ie everyone monitored, measured, analysed & reported.

    but non Ohm systems then also control either energy use and/or billing costs at what appeared to be significantly lower price
