existing well established companies always spin their positioning to fit whatever is vogue of the time - what they say often has no connection to how they make most of their money.

its about where they hope to make new and increased amounts in future + whatever will keep their brand 'current' - excuse the pun.

takes minutes to change a marketing tagline - often decades to change behaviour and or profit centres
