I agree with you @drbgt40 these bulbs could become mainstream and 10c a pop. I am simply question BUD/LIFx ability to ride out the coming land grab and price war, they do not have enough cash and are not making profit now with the expensive bulbs, how will they compete with the likes of Wyze and others over the coming year(s), can they maintain number 2 spot?. DM mentioned in his email response to the other HC poster, that there is a high cost associated with having retail bricks and mortar stores, Vs pure online. Pure Online is killing bricks and mortar. Again....I am not saying I am right or wrong and I do not know the first thing about retail strategy, this is just my view based on what I read, see and experience.
