@shovel40 thanks for your post and question. I have never said that the retail presence was a bad or wrong strategy nor denied the sales that likely happen in this retail stores.

My comments have always been around the coming price war and I have questioned whether BUD/LIFx can afford to fight given the fact the business is losing a lot of money now, they can’t afford to drop their price, if anything they need to increase their price. DM admitted in an email that running bricks and mortar retail is expensive compared to pure online and it is and is likely not sustainable. Wyze is a good example of this.
