@goldbear, you're totally wrong on this.
The tariff is paid by the importer, which is Lifx. They can only recover it by (1) passing it on to the retailer (in which case it is then necessarily passed on to the consumer through a higher retail price) or (2) by negotiating a lower purchase price from the manufacturer or (3) a combination of both.
In this case it's not (1) because there was no price rise and I'd say there is zero chance it's (2), so it's also not (3).
You're right about one thing though - it does make absolute sense if you understand how it works!!!!!!!!!!
