Tomorrow Tuesday until 2.00pm is last chance to send questions to WOR that will be answered at their AGM on Tuesday 25th Oct. Unfortunately i'm not holder and nor are my friends. We are 60% throgh the 1HFY16 and so far only one contract has been announced. Firm keeps focusing on cutting costs but you need revenue to finction.
Each of the last 3 Outlook Statements have been vague and opaque and devoid of figures. 'Conditions are challenging', 'Projects are delayed', and 'costs being cut' are the 3 most often used phrases. Then when the actual facts arrive 3 months later the mkt is shocked to learn how dire things are and no divs last FY and no mention (so far) of any in fy17.
But firm HQ get daily updates from their offices around the world and have a pretty good handle on current state of affairs. If i was at the meeting I'd ask:
1) What is rev for 1QFY17 and will we achieve $2.2B for 1h? They should have a clear answer for that.
2) What EBIT margin do y0u expect in IHfy17?
3) What new projects have been signed in FY17?
4) Do you have a revenue and EBIT forecast for FY17?
They should give you the first three but probably baulk at #4.
If anyone attends AGM plse post back on HC. Only 51 days left till CY17. Each day without a contract reduce time available by 2%.
