Late to the party here but I've finally started to do some research on MVP and it looks like a great stock, but one thing I haven't gotten the answer to yet is the IP around Penthrox.
It's been on sale for something like 30+ years which I would expect mean it is out of patent. Is my understanding correct that the company has invested in its development and the product is substantially improved than what it was before, with additional IP to extend its protection? If so, does anyone know the duration of these patents?
Or is it just the case that there is some sort of trade secret that is keeping its IP protected? Or is there no IP protection left for Penthrox at all?
