1) Hard to say, depends on the political aspects of approval. I'm in Victoria and haven't been paying any attention to the community feel regarding this.

2) If it is to be approved then I'd expect it would happen fairly quickly given Crown already own casinos, they would've already gone through probity to be where they are now.
