On impairment, any time the market trades massively below book value (like 1/7 in this case), there will be pressure to impair assets.
The impairment means very little because the underground is highly certain but not from an accounting view - thus a conservative carrying value is appropriate.
No-one really looks much as book assets for mines anyway.
