I have been in RDR for 5 years and have met both David and Chris at mining symposiums and find them both to be down to earth and sold guys. However they have a business to run and I take every pronouncement with a grain of salt and as a result run hot and cold on their prospects into the future. Of all the threads on HC I reckon that RDR is one of the most sane ones. Very few trolls and mostly queries on the company progress and direction.
If you want a fan club Simon then move to a site you can control but I thought that RDR can stand on its own two feet based on its resources. If it has a problem with a few people who have not made their million yet then so be it. I still think that Hot Copper provides a better platform for discussion than any "company controlled site", for obvious reasons.
