1.In 2019 the Authier project was firstsubmitted to BAPE. We are now 2 ½ years into this journey and we still do nothave approval.I understand that with the acquisition of NAL that Authier’s path to approval should be much easier however we have seen no movement on this effort since January 13th of 2021.
a.Can you provide a detailed overviewof the steps that are now involved, and the timeline associated with thesesteps?
b.At what point does the lack ofapproval start hurting our timetable to production?
c.Can you provide similar guidance forMoblan approval and timetable?
2.Many other lithium miners includingPiedmont are quoting a 2-year time frame to go from “woe to go” when they are buildinga facility to process Carbonate / Hydroxide.Sayona purchased NAL who had already done major portions of the build and is fully permitted and yet we are quoting a minimum of 3 years to complete. Can you please help me understand why we cannot move faster?
3.The agreement between Piedmont andSayona is for 50% of the SYAQ spodumene production. The agreement wasoriginally planned to start between July 2023 and July 2024.Since then, Piedmont has run into some major delays that will likely cause them to miss the window set in the supply agreement. Will this contract be re-written? Who will we sell our product to in the meantime?
4.There have been numerous referencesto activity related to sealing a 2nd or 3rd offtakeagreement.
a.do we have a target quarter in which this will likely be announced?
b.Would a 2nd offtake agreementtarget spodumene or a lithium chemical?
5.One area that many share holders havevoiced concern over is the amount of communication that we receive. There wereseveral announcements made early in the year that were given timelines thatwere obviously not met.It would be nice to have regular updates on projects especially if they are running off schedule. Many times, as shareholders we find out news about Sayona from our partner Piedmont and while we are grateful to get these bits of information we feel we should not be hearing information about our company by way of a partner first. Can Sayona make an effort to create better communications in the future.
