Why bother announcing a trading halt if you are going to resume trading minutes after the announcement is made anyway? It doesn't give us any time to read or understand what has happened and is bound to alienate potential investors. Furthermore, why would you give notice of a conference call within 30 minutes of the conference call commencing? Why not announce something like that on Friday?
P.S. This is less important and we should definitely focus on the agreement itself, but I think it should be brought up because this isn't the first time this has happened and I see no reason for the board to act like this except the fact that they want to minimise questions from shareholders.
