I would expect if there was any good news to report, it would be out in a flash.

So the absence of any update tells the tale unfortunately IMO.

A 249D will get a response from management at least and a report from management on why they think you should keep them.
At present they treat you all as mushrooms by the look of it.

A shake up is a good thing, they can not ignore a 249D like they ignore requests for news.
