I believe the initial buying is solely on the investors shoulders, anyone that buys on another persons say so without proper DD leaves themselves open to loss, anyone that buys into a spec stock should expect to lose everything, we all do it because the risk/ reward is higher than a blue chip and if we are one of the lucky ones that beats the odds we get bragging rights
