in reply to Spiro's query, i would say that Majuba power station at Amersfoort on the border between Mpumalanga and KZN and Thutuka at Standerton, also close to KZN border are favourites for thsi supple. The mines that were supposed to supply them in the original contract were in Majuba's case aborted due to advers geology (over optimistic planning on Randcoal's part) and in Thuthuka's case under performance by the New Denmark Colliery.

The tarriff at 47% of costs is correct based on current rates.
