KRR hasnt abandoned vanadium at all. The new process they are going for, is so that the plant can change over and extract what metal is the best at whatever time. Example if Vanadium was in demand then it would mean adjusting the settings on the leaching process to produce the high purity vanadium or if HPA was in demand then they change the setting over to that.
Would be a win, win situation at least in theory for now.
