There is no trick to it. As you know I tend to buy when the price is well below fair and in a businesses model that I understand like the back of my hand. No point in buying if you don't understand how the business makes their money. You just end up being a weak hand and get shaken off the registry sooner than you think.

Some nice investment ideas there, @Exised . I have looked into some of them and have one or two. But as you say, it is important to have a solid understanding of them and the investment case, otherwise the volatile times will kick you out of a potentially great investment.
