My quick take on this quick read is despite our Uranium endowment of circa 23% of the worlds known resources we remain a minnow in the industry.
That reflects an unfortunate legacy of strategic leadership failure in this country.
The Australian continent is tectonically the most secure place to build nuclear power stations.
We "could" have a thriving industry around nuclear technology - mining, enrichment, being a player on the world stage in the supply of fuel. Precisely the kind of highly skilled industry we oft hear being spoken of when yet another labour orientated job is lost to foreign competitors.
