The battle for a slice of the IPTV pie in Australia is well underway.
Quickflix is in pole position to be the market leader in this country.

The deals with Sony, Samsung, Mac etc make QFX a much simplier proposition for the public, due to the fact that no extra set top boxes are requiried to stream the content.

Also the agreement between Foxtel and Microsoft Xbox is due to end in 2012.

I would be certain that the board if haven't already, would not be far from stitching up Xbox aswell.

The niche market that QFX is quickly building with exclusive content deals will ultimately put them ahead of the competition
HBO and BBC content will have expats diving to sign up when streaming begins.

I expect a large jump in subscriber numbers to be reported this half as QFX are actively pushing their wears to the market now. This will see the SP head north.

HBO obviously see QFX as the best vehicle in this country to get aboard a rapidly growing industry in IPTV.
I'm sure they did their research.
