Since martis hasn't claimed that he/she has worked out the Lagrangian of the markets, his/her prediction is more likely incorrect. Anyway, martis is getting realistic probably after studying Lagrangian of a system?
martis mentioned a point of equilibrium.
There are two equilibriums, i.e., stable and unstable equilibrium. If XAO of 4300 is a stable equilibrium, any fluctuations from that level will be restored at the level: sideways markets. On the other hand, if it is an unstable equilibrium, there will be an upside crash or downside crash: upside crash will hurt the bears and downside crash will injure the bulls.
