I've not seen in The Australian, or SMH, and certainly not
at home here in any Kiwi media, might help stave off some
of the downturn forecast for the wider market today?

Paladin output to rise

Uranium producer Paladin Resources is forecasting its total output of the radio active fuel to increase over the next two years.

Production is expected to increase from just over 2.5 million tones next year to 9 million by 2009.

The expected rise is attributed to a planned expansion at its flagship Langer Heinrich project in Namibia, and the start up of a new project.

Last month Paladin said Langer Heinrich would produce around 650,000 pounds of uranium in the six months to December, down from an earlier estimate of 900,000 pounds.
