Joseph: In case you don't know, Chuck Schumer who is the minority leader in the US Senate (Democrat) tweeted Donald Trump with support for threat to impose the 25% tariffs on Friday unless the Chinese stop procrastinating in the trade discussions. So to be fair, your comment should have been not Bloody Trump but bloody US. Trump clearly has the support of the Democrats on this issue, or at least the sensible ones. Not that there are may of those in the Democrats. If you read Cosmos link it explains clearly why he made the tweet and the Chinese are just playing games trying to wriggle out of promises they had made previously on the intellectual property theft and compulsory transfer. They have requested two, or is it three, delays and been granted them thus far. Time to get tough. Go Donald! If the Chinese want trade terms that are fair and equitable, then they need to offer the same. Cheers!
