Cam we certainly are coming into some hard times with the mining sector. A close friend of mine who is in a senior role with one of the large coal companies basically states they are having a hard time finding buyers for the coal and that if things don't change there will be staff cuts. Obviously that will also be the case with iron ore. This has to all flow on to "less of the pie" for the mining services sector. This could be a little delayed due to the forward order book but it will play out. I would also suggest the Chinese aren't mugs when it comes to business and may be playing it this way as they have been paying top dollar recently. I think the Oil and gas sector is somewhat different and will continue to flourish with any service companies tied to it will do OK but they will be tarred with same brush so to speak and their share price could suffer.
