nituc, as I understand the situation from reading the company's announcements and talking to whomever I could over the last four months or so, CBio may still have a RA drug.
It is true that in the interim report of the trial released on 31 July, CBio indicated that the problem was underdosing. However, as the scientists analysed more of the data, it became apparent that it was more than this - that the formulation of the drug for subcutaneous delivery was at fault.

Hence, the formulation has to be fixed, as XToll cannot be a commercial success in RA unless it is delivered conveniently.

However, now that an exciting study has come out showing that XToll is effective in animals in a lupus model, this opens up a whole new $2 billion pa market, which we will have practically to ourselves if the drug is successful.
