No doubt Dr. Jekyll knew Cecil for what he was, an icon, and a harmless tourist attraction.

Some one here said eventually he would have been challenged by another lion,

and most likely died, as he was already old and weak.

So an inept hunter, that pays to have an animal lured out of its sanctuary,

so that he can wound it, and let it roam in pain for 40 hours,

basically is doing the animal a favour?

The same person that gets paid a fortune when people come to him in pain, and may also be old,

so that he can charge them to ease the suffering caused by a tooth ache ?

Whether it is luring an animal out, a young child, ( with a bag of lollies ),

or a woman with dinner and drinks, then using all these, for their own

pleasure, or self gratification is disgusting.

Wonder if I lured an old pensioner out of the so called safety of their

own home, and then raped, robbed or bashed them, simply because I can,

and they are old, would be so acceptable.

Mr Hunter needs his shiny teeth pulled, by an amateur, with no anaesthetic,

at the rate of one a month, 'till he has none left, might give him a new perspective on life and death,

and how things should and shouldn't be done.

I'm not anti hunting anti fishing, anti farming of animals,

but their is a right and a wrong way to do things, he deliberately opted for the wrong way.

    ##### P.S.

I love fishing and crabbing, but not good at it, and only catch, when I do,

what I am allowed to/can keep, to eat.

For the life of me can't fathom why they catch fish, then hold them up

suffocating in the air, because it is a sport ?

Catch it, kill it, eat it, or if it is too big, too small or inedible, release it immediately.

Can't stand watching those so called fishermen that go and catch fish after fish after fish,

and keep them out of the water while they pose for pics.

Love to shove their heads UNDERWATER for the same amount of time

that they keep the fish out of water.
