Vaccination helps fight covid infection and reduce symptoms. It does not make one immortal.
Given the high vaccinated rate and that the vaccinated can still contract covid its only natural there will be more people dying with Covid rather than because of Covid because those dying will have existing conditions such as serious non covid illness and most will be in the aged category.
Many of the vulnerable groups will have been saved by having had all the required jabs.
The unvaccinated are a small percentage of the population and age and per capita assessment is needed to get a true evaluation of how they are doing versus the vaccinated. For example if the largest unvaccinated group is hypothetically, say 30-40 year olds, how on a per capita basis do they compare with the vaccinated in the same group. Without doing this its easy for people to misunderstand and for some to misrepresent the daily published numbers.
