AFR reports that RM Williams owner L Catterton has put it up for sale.
It earned revenue of $143m and operating profit of $6m in 2018, growing around 12% on prior year at the revenue line.
Sounds familiar?
They want up to $500 million for it.
CCX commands better margins and online exposure and is cashed up in the balance sheet.
That points to a comparable market capitalisation of circa $600 million.
