Firefinch Limited (“Firefinch” or the “Company”) is pleased to advise that Entreprise Générale Traoré et Frères SARL (“EGTF”) has withdrawn the claim it had brought against the Company under the Notice of Arbitration, as announced on 27 May 2024.Firefinch chairman Mr Brett Fraser said: “This is a very pleasing outcome for Firefinch and our shareholders. We always maintained that EGTF’s claim against the Company was entirely without merit and we were prepared to vigorously defend ourselves.The withdrawal now allows us to focus on the Morila sale and complete the task of returning Firefinch’s assets to shareholders as quickly as possible.”This announcement has been approved for release to shareholders by the Board.
