From the CEO's Boardroom radio interview (my emphasis):-
"It's quite interesting that with the current price of gold, in Aussie dollar terms, we've been getting about $A1,200/oz, I mean it's a wonderful price.
"This has enabled us to commence treating, through our milling facility at Coolgardie, very low grade dirt that under normal circumstances would have just been directed to the waste dump. So, 1.5g dirt is pay-dirt for us, at the moment.
"Whilst we're not going to get rich on low grade or like that, it certainly pays the bills."
"The most pleasing aspect is that we have now encountered high grade ore a little earlier than was expected. We've encountered some high grade blocks in what was the pit wall, now the pit floor, and we're talking kilos per tonne. So we certainly expect some high grade ore blocks to come out as soon as this week, actually."
