I see nothing wrong with the GR Engineering contract being awarded. This company knows the Black Swan Mill better than anyone else and that is a huge advantage. What I do have a problem with is the long period allowed just to come to a PFS/costing of the required refurbishment work. The timeline should have been a few months less IMO. I am still hoping the 9-month deadline is just to give a fallback period in case of any unforeseen circumstances and that the results will arrive ahead of schedule. That would be a wise thing to do because I am tired of managements on the ASX not giving themselves enough time, and the date blowing out and they end up looking incompetent. For example, I hold many stocks where managements say 4-6 weeks for assay results which end up being 8-10 weeks. I understand it is out of their control and dependent on the operations at the labs, but it is way better to say 8-10 weeks to begin with and then if it ends up being 6 weeks they look a lot better and more trustworthy with how they deliver from a timing perspective.
