If BG was open to off market transfers would we be at this SP despite a lot of de-risking in the last year?

None of us knew where the SP was going to be the next day so we just had to act based on available info and our own investment aims. I was happy to buy from him above $3 at the time of SPP given one had limits on quantity we could get from SPP. However he chose to sell on market. He may have received similar offers which he may have turned down. So there is no point in blaming the liquidity IMO.

If tomorrow a BP makes a 50% on SP offer would we want it on a SP of $3 or at $1.5? I think we all the know the answer to that. So I was happy to own as much RAC as I can afford then at $3 and now at $1.5.

At $3 the supply seemed limited, at $1.5 we have a barrage of supply. See Friday’s sell side, at each half cent intervals there were 30-60k units available. Simply unbelievable. When M@g123 posts the weekly trading we will have a better picture of the dumping.

Retail can only absorb so much volume. It reminds me of the rains in Sydney couple of months ago. The rains were so incessant that the soil couldn’t absorb anymore and the pots were overflowing as well. That’s the situation of RAC SH. No one has unlimited $$$ to absorb the supply. The over supply pushes the SP down. So looking forward to the buyback.
