the UK government hasn’t stopped cancer treatment. However individual hospitals and commissioning groups have had to limit inpatient treatment, due to covid patients bed use age, and in particular a lot of cancer operations have had to be cancelled due to lack of ICU beds, again due to covid patients. In addition staff shortages due to covid infections have reduced capacity.
