nothing at the spec end of town is a certain bet, that’s why it’s speculative! If you’ve bought you’ve already made mentally made the risk/reward call, either consciously or not. It’s of course more comfortable being in the green knowing you could pull your money out at a profit at any time, but my approach is to trust my research. Does my investment thesis still hold? Yes. Do I trust management? Yes. Is the product on the right path? Yes. Then I’m holding or adding to my position. Time horizon is obviously the biggie. Anyone saying 2 years is obviously just throwing out a number, but I’m always more confident in an outcome than the time it will take to reach it. Final thought, insiders are heavily invested here, and thought it was cheap at $3.24. My approach is to ride out this cycle and build on my position while the price is suppressed, but everyone needs to have their own investment goals in mind!
