I should add that I totally feel your pain and understand the anxiety of being in the red (I am too). As with a lot of people I had a spec portfolio in Feb 2020. At the worst of the market I was down about 60-70% of my total liquid capital. I didn’t sell a share. Most stocks recovered beautifully, a handful are now properly in the toilet and may or may not ever recover. My approach during that period was to log out of HC and not look at my screens. I read all the announcements and that was it. I probably would have had a nervous breakdown otherwise! I definitely learned some risk management lessons from that and did some rebalancing, but markets are cyclical and I believe RAC is in great shape, so watching the price daily is probably unnecessary stress right now for a lot of people.
