A mate of mine sent me an investing podcast, its a recent interview about spec mining investing with Rick Rule. He was telling a story about Ivanhoe mines. (not cross promoting) He got in early, at $2. The price dropped to 60c, he then had to decide, "am I a buyer or seller?" The company fundamentals hadn't changed, the project was sound. He loaded up at 63c, he was very happy when the price hit $11.
The moral of the story, if nothing has changed in the company, if you don't need the money, stay patient and the end result could well be worth the short term pain.
