I think this is a valid approach for some companies - I would say especially for small cap/growth names or companies that have had sizeable pivots or turnarounds.
Definitely highly relevant for RAC, and the other one we both hold which has pivoted from being a mouthguard company to a biotech behemoth!
Another fun one is Blackberry - pivoting from making those mobile phones to now being a cyber security company.
