The main purpose of my going to the event was to apply a simple lie detector test. I wanted to see from close up whether the Directors blushed while recounting the inevitable good news. So I sat near the front.
I'm pleased to report that I didn't detect the slighest trace of blushing by either Director. However, the lights were dimmed during the presentation and I'm waitlisted for a cataract operation.
