Simple reliable facts.
*More buyers than sellers, price goes up.
*BG has been (arguably) considerable but definitely consistent seller over extended period.
IMO I think with our relatively low number of shares on issue a small swing in the balance of buyers vs sellers will have a considerable impact on sp.
Case and point being the complaints about miniscule parcels "manipulating" the share price down. This will be the same phenomenon at work in reverse if the balance swings and there is a fight for a minimal amount of free shares available.
