The other 85% of "organic" selling volume is coming from remaining shareholders who control 99.6% of SOI. BG's (ever-decreasing) current 0.4% of SOI holding is continuously selling the other 12-15% of daily volume. As I posted the other day, a significant portion of BGs shares are also likely sold into the bid (i.e. pushing down the price) so that Shaws can guarantee the volume gets sold. And the more others buy, the more of BGs shares get sold, the more others sell, the more of BGs shares get sold.
Selling will not dry up when BGs shares are all sold, however there's no doubt in my mind that the nature of how RAC trades will change significantly once that occurs and that daily overhang is no longer present. I can't see any way that it won't be a positive development as far as the share price goes.
