I have to agree with you, any left-of-field partnership or interim data could U-turn everything. It is hard to tell whether DCB has a partnership in the making and how close. I think, given he has been at the helm for a few months only I would find it more likely to finalise one (if any in play) at best by end of this year (assuming a 6 to 18 months timeline which is actually bullish). Unless, of course, conversations have already happened prior to his appointment.
Let's see how it plays out.
