I agree, it's a tough thing to hold and even buy more, when the SP keeps declining.
Few years back, I bought 30,000 PLS shares at 33 cents and sold them at 39 cents for a small profit. I thought I was a genius, making some profit. Now, look where it is now. Had I done more research, on the industry, company etc. I am sure, I would have stuck to some degree. I tried trading a few other stocks, some win, some loss, didn't make much.
I have followed a few people who make money on shares, I find they are usually the ones who invest long term, and don't get scared so much with volatility.
Of course, it may take years, but if you've backed a solid company, build on good fundamentals, market will recognize sooner or later.
