Genuine question; even though EMD AML isn't going well on the recruitment front, why would they consider dropping it? Wouldn't you just keep it open? I don't know the nature of the costs to have it open, ie do the hospital(s) charge regular fees for having a trial 'active' at their site. Also, would it really be costing us that much given the low volume being screened (9 to date from memory?). Any individual we can get through it is another data point and potentially another positive outcome for a family.
